Co-Owner & Managing Partner

Chris Moon joined Milliken and Company in 1975 as a management trainee at the Lockhart Plant in Union, SC.  After training in several departments, Chris was promoted to shift supervisor in the knitting department.

In 1979, he joined Moon’s Cabinet and Millwork Incorporated, his father’s woodworking business.  As a result, Chris devoted many years to the cabinet and millwork industry, during which time he became a master carpenter and cabinetmaker.

In 1990, he joined Precision Wood Products with responsibilities for sales, estimating, project management, purchasing, manufacturing, and installation.  In 1996, when Precision was sold to Southeastern Wood Products, Chris became co-owner of Moon-McManus.  He is currently the managing partner.

Chris is a native of Greer, SC, and a graduate of Greer High School and Greenville Technical College with an Associate of Science degree.  He serves on the local board for Community South Bank and is also a member of the Greenville Home Builders Association.  Chris is an active member of Brookwood Church, where he is a member of the praise choir.  Chris' hobbies include running, cycling and playing guitar.

Chris and his wife Janet have a son, Randy, and two daughters, Kristi and Amanda.  They also have three grandchildren.
